Societies & Sustainability (SAS) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal committed to advancing research on the social dimensions of sustainability. Our mission is to foster multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary research that addresses the most critical challenges facing contemporary societies. We aim to promote equitable, inclusive, and resilient communities by supporting evidence-based research that informs policy, practice, and governance on local, national, and global levels.
The journal serves as a platform for contributions that explore the complex intersections between societal development, governance, and sustainability. By addressing these issues, SAS supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly those focused on social equity, quality education, sustainable cities, health, and justice.
